LIMITED TIME SAVE 6% ON THE S380CPS

1. The Evolution S380CPS

The Evolution S380CPS is a beast of a saw is one of the most popular chop saws on the market right now and we can see the popularity as we have sold hundreds of these since it's debut with very few complaints.   We just love the starting price point of this saw because you are getting professional quality cutting for a sub $500 price tag and that's what the Evolution brand brings to the table.  They really do not mess with product quality with a lower price point.

The Pros

Cons

✅ The base is superb leading to a very stable saw with limited movement
✅ 45 degree cuts are great with the locking pin

✅ Saw cuts through metal very easily with very little burr
✅ Carry handle makes it a bit more portable than other saws in the same class
❌ Metal chip collection isn't great but this is better than most

2. The Evolution S355CPSL

S355 is a more affordable version of the S380CPS but the major difference is that this one is only compatible with the 14" blade and the S380CPS can take both 14" and 15" metal cutting blades.  Professionals in welding and metal fabrication all use this saw because of the accuracy it provides when cutting.  It's perfect to cut sheet metal, tube, and for pipe cutting as well. This saw is perfect for someone with a budget in mind and we think it's a great bang for your buck just like the S380CPS.

The Pros

Cons

✅ Perfect cuts and smooth finish
✅ Very limited debris and dust

✅  A monster at 45 degree cutting
✅ No need to worry about sparks and fires compared to other saws in class
❌ Clamping isn't as solid as the S380CPS

Winner:  The S380CPS

With a bigger blade capacity and more versatile cutting, we think the S380CPS is a better buy than the S355CPSL but from what we see in terms of customer inquiries we think both are equal in popularity and there isn't a wrong answer.  If you have a budget in mind and want to spend a little less the S355CPSL is a great choice.  Check out the specifications head to head below for more information.
