Cylinder Truck
Gas cylinder truck is a necessity for businesses that store and use large compressed gas cylinders. These carts can be made of steel or pipe and vary in size depending on the type of cylinder they will be used to move.
The top handle is usually fixed at an angle so that the cart can be pushed easily around a facility. The leg stands are adjustable for height, and have rubber feet to protect the floor from scratching.
These trucks come with enough room underneath to carry smaller items such as regulators or gauges. They can be customized according to the needs of a specific application.
A cylinder hand cart is shipped with an attached cylinder restraint made of chain. To attach the chain, a pin must be inserted through holes in both ends and then pulled tight by hand or with pliers. When not in use, the chains must be removed from the cart's top bar and stored on the cart's frame to prevent accidental misalignment while moving cylinders and subsequent damage that could occur if one side of a cylinder were to come loose from its restraint during transport.
Cylinder Dolly
A Cylinder dolly is used for many types of compressed gas cylinders including oxygen, acetylene, nitrogen and propane tanks. Carts may also be designed for cylinders that need to be turned upside down. Additional features may include a handle on the front for pulling, swivel wheels and a base plate with four holes for permanent mounting.
Gas cylinder dolly is used in both industrial and residential settings, including storage facilities, gas refilling stations and welding supply stores. These carts are especially helpful in industries where unstable terrain makes it difficult to move heavy tanks by other means such as forklift or pallet jack without risking injury to workers.
A torch cart is a designed to help welders transport their welding cylinders around the shop. Some carts feature wire shelves, steel sides, and upright posts with chains attached to hold the welding torch and cylinders in place. Welders use this type of torch cart to keep their torch in an upright position while not in use. Other types carts have drawers or small boxes that welders can store equipment when not in use. For fire safety these products can have a built in firewall that keeps volatile gases away from each other during the welding process, other options include a toe hitch in case these units need to be lifted by crane on a jobsite. These gas tank carts are an invaluable piece of equipment for the welder as it allows them to become mobile by easily moving around their heavy equipment. These units can carry oxygen, nitrogen and acetylene which are the most commonly used gases in the welding industry.
