How to buy a forklift carpet pole attachment

A forklift carpet pole solves the issue of moving and storing rolled carpet onto high shelving around warehouses, plants or stores.  These poles are made as an attachment so that they can fit onto a forklift via a carriage mount or fork mount.  The carriage mount attachment installs directly onto the mount of a forklift while fork mounts attach directly to the fork extensions of the truck.


A carpet pole allows the operator to insert the pole into the core of a carpet or vinyl flooring, allowing them to lift large heavy rugs and carpets wherever needed.   They are made from high tensile solid steel and have a weight capacity of 1800 to 2500 pounds depending upon the model chosen. Each carpet stinger comes with a safety restraint to keep everything in place while it is in motion.

Class 1:

Capacity: less then 2,200 lbs
Carriage Height: 13"

Class 2:

Capacity: between 2,200 and 5,500 lbs
Carriage Height: 16"

Class 3:

Capacity: between 5,500 and 10,998 lbs.
Carriage Height: 20"
