Reed Mechanical Hot Tapping Machine - DM3MECH
- The Reed hot tap machine can make branch connections from 3/4” to 4” valves when connecting to chilled and hot water systems up to 300 psi, steam systems up to 15psi, and compatible for use with galvanized steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and aluminum pipe.
- DM3MECH contains the base machine, along with 7/16" Hex Arbor, 1/4" Drill Bit, Hole Saws 5/8", 7/8", 1 1/8", 1 3/8", 1 3/4", 2 1/4", 3 1/4", Allen wrenches and toolbox.
- With the correct hole saw, the Dm3mech can connect to chilled and hot water systems up to 300 psi and steam systems up to 15 psi without a shutdown of service. The machine works for mild steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and aluminum pipe; it drills through the pipe wall via fittings inserted into the service saddle or thread-o-let.
- Hot tap using the DM3MECH Mechanical Hot Tapping Machine.
- With the right hole saw, cut or drill into copper, steel, or plastic pipe for up to 4" valves.
- Reed's Mechanical Hot Tapping Machines require a 1/2" drill motor, valves and fittings that are all sold separately.

i have 2 of these kits, they have paid for themselves on 3 jobs. Easily tap pipe on smaller jobs. I would recomneed it.

The reed tapping machine is and all in one set, easy to use. I have tapped a bunch of lines so far and had no problem, i would recommend.
