If you want your space heated quickly, a forced air heater is a great option. These heaters use fans to circulate warm air throughout your home or office and are often called torpedo heaters because of their shape. They draw cool outside air in through the back where powerful motors have heating elements inside that make it hot enough to shoot out from the front like small jets. The warmth created by these currents will easily keep any room nice and cozy on even cold days. Keep in mind with any torpedo heater you do need fresh air circulating through the room for safety. The advantages a torpedo heater has over other options such as a radiant tube heater is portability.  They can be re-positioned easily and that's a big advantages in many spaces where heat may be required in a specific area and with the air circulation requirements it can also be moved to an area where fresh air is more available for operation.  Many other heating options are stationary and must be assembled and mounted on a wall or ceiling.
