Pulling Sheaves
Pulling sheaves allow the user to pull faster and control cable over long distances, it helps to prevent cutting and kinking in lines. Cable sheaves are typically larger than other standard pulleys, which allow them to handle the additional weight of wire and cable. Cable sheaves can be mounted in both horizontal and vertical positions, but they were designed primarily to pull wire horizontally. These tools are the best solution to the problem of safely and quickly pulling wire and cable horizontally, these machines create a loop in the cable that allows it to be pulled across, underneath or around different obstructions.
Wire pulling sheaves can be mounted on a stud or joist, and they also include a mounting plate or hook for added strength. These tools pull the loop of cable either to the left or right until it reaches an opening where it can then be pulled vertically upward. Cable sheaves are capable of supporting both light and heavy gauge wire and cable, and also provide a load bearing capacity that can be adjusted depending on the weight and size of wire being pulled. These tools come in various sizes from 2" - 24" cable wheels to fit any size job.
