- The Single Operator manhole cover lifting system makes it fast, safe, and easy to remove and replace covers.
- The deep reach magnetic field in these PowerLift™ Rare Earth permanent magnets penetrate textured and patterned surfaces often found on manhole covers.
- Two magnets- placed on a spreader beam- are used to balance the load and avoid the center section, which can contain raised areas, holes, loops or uneven ridges.
- Once magnets are magnetically attached use a crane, hitch-hoist or dolly (sold separately).
- The PowerLift™ magnet operates with an internal release device that does not contact or damage the surface of the part being lifted. Each PowerLift™ magnet is 3/1 safety- rated to lift 660 pounds each on thick smooth surfaces.
